This dashboard provides an overview of the voting status and activity across the network. You can view this dashboard live here.

Dashboard Overview​

The dashboard consists of several key panels that provide detailed insights into the voting status:

Last Vote Submit Status​

This panel shows the status of the last vote submitted for each asset. The tiles are color-coded to indicate the voting status:

  • Red: No vote or invalid vote.
  • Green: Valid vote.

Overall Vote Status​

A pie chart that provides an overall view of the voting status across all assets. It categorizes votes into:

  • Non-Empty Vote: Valid votes.
  • No Vote: Instances where no vote was submitted.
  • Empty Vote: Votes that were submitted but were empty.

Last Vote Miss Status​

This panel tracks the instances of missed votes, pre-votes, and votes over time. It helps in identifying patterns of missed votes.

Vote Type​

This bar chart breaks down the types of votes (valid, no vote, abstain) for each asset over time, giving a clear view of voting trends and participation.

Miss Counter Vote Status​

A line chart showing the progression of missed votes and actions over time. It highlights trends in missed voting activity.

Validator-Specific Overview​

In addition to the overall voting status, the dashboard also provides a per-validator view. This section helps in monitoring the performance and voting patterns of individual validators.

Majority Status​

Shows the voting majority status for each validator:

  • Majority: The validator's vote matches the majority.
  • Valid Vote: The validator has submitted a valid vote.

Quorum Reached Status​

Indicates whether the quorum has been reached for each validator:

  • Quorum: The validator's vote contributes to reaching quorum.

Validator Oracle Uptime​

Displays the uptime of each validator's oracle, indicating their reliability and availability.

Miss Vote Status Overview​

Breaks down the miss vote status for each validator into:

  • No Vote: Validators that did not submit a vote.
  • Non-Empty Vote: Validators that submitted a vote.
  • No Action: Instances where no action was taken by the validator.
  • Empty Vote: Validators that submitted an empty vote.

Last Vote Miss Status​

Tracks the instances of missed votes for each validator over time, highlighting patterns and anomalies.

Understanding Voting Status​

  • Majority No Vote: If the majority of feeders have not voted, it will reflect as a majority no vote.
  • Valid Vote: If you have submitted a valid vote but the majority has not, you will face a miss counter.
  • Data Mismatch: There can be instances where you have submitted a valid vote, but the tile still appears red. This occurs when your payload does not match the majority of feeders broadcasting their vote.

This dashboard is a crucial tool for monitoring the health and participation of the network's voting system. By keeping track of these metrics, you can ensure that your votes are aligned with the majority and take necessary actions to correct any discrepancies.
